Rouhani begs Iranians to vote in upcoming election

Hassan Rouhani: Here I want to make a demand from the entire people of Iran, from all men and women, from the young and the old, from all those in villages and cities, from all ethnic groups, from people from all religions – today is the day we should all go to the ballot boxes, even if we have complaints, even if we are upset, even if we can think of certain problems, even if we say this or that thing is not implemented exactly and accurately. We shouldn’t sulk with the ballot boxes.

[As Iran gets closer to Parliamentarian election, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani asks all people to go to ballot boxes for voting. In recent widespread protests, Iranians called for resignation of Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei.]
