Custodian of shrine in Qom reacts to concerns over Coronavirus in ‘Holy Shrine’

Mohammad Saeedi: We consider this holy shrine as ‘House of Cure’. House of Cure means that people come here to get cure for their mental and physical diseases. Therefore, this place [Shrine of Masoumeh in city of Qom] must remain open and people should come here as strongly as they can.

[Custodian of Masoumeh Shrine – which is a Shia religious center in city of Qom and has many visitors– says this place must remain open during the spread of deadly Coronavirus, calling it a place for getting cured. Coronavirus has caused deaths of many people in Iran, and it started spreading from Qom to other cities.]
