IRGC’s Salami on annihilating Israel

[Hossein Salami is an Iranian military officer with the rank of Brigadier general, who currently serves as the second-in-command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.]

Brigadier-General Hossein Salami: Look at Zionist regime today. When Zionist regime sees that the strategy for annihilating that regime is shaped in the world’s political geography and there are proper capacities to enforce that strategy, it wants to disrupt a strategic balance with a series of blind tactical operations.

Host: Like the northern shield.

Brigadier-General Hossein Salami: Yes. Now we say that you are vulnerable enough. We warn the Zionist regime that you lack strategic depth. All the land that is occupied by you and has the population and in which cities are locate – I am not talking about southern deserts – will take as much as two operations of Fath al-Mobin and Beit al-Moghaddas [during Iran-Iraq war]. We warn them that you are getting yourselves closer to death. The whole world knows that a limited war against us will never remain limited. Everybody knows that others might start making a move against us, but they know that continuing and ending it is with us. And if Israelis make a mistake to break out a new war, they must be sure that this war will end in annihilating them. They shouldn’t rely on Americans. Before they arrive, they will be destroyed. They must look for graveyards for themselves somewhere else. There won’t be any place left for them. We warn them about this. They should be careful not to make any mistake. If they make a mistake and connect the dots between the capacity for the death of Zionists to that strategy for annihilating, they will be certainly annihilated from the world.
