Qassem Soleimani’s reaction to Israeli attacks against Iranian forces

Sadegh Kharazi: Qassem Soleimani had given the order at 3 pm or 4 pm to attack all Israeli bases in the regions where they had targeted our bases. At 7 or 8 pm, he had sent a message to the head of Russian headquarters in Syria, saying ‘I swear to God that if Israelis want to respond to these attacks, I will eviscerate Tel Aviv and Jerusalem tomorrow’. At 4 am, Bashar Assad and Hassan Nasrallah were looking for Haji [Qassem Soleimani]. They woke him up and told him Israelis had said, ‘forget about it. We will have nothing to do with Iranian forces; they should only not get closer than 40 kilometers to our borders’. The same thing was said by Mr. Netanyahu to Mr. Putin in Russia. What does it mean? It means power.

[Former Iranian diplomat, Sadegh Kharazi, says Qassem Soleimani was about to attack Israeli bases. Israel has had more than 200 fatal attacks against Islamic Republic’s forces and interests in Syria, to which Islamic Republic has not responded.]
