[Behrouz Kamalvandi, the Spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said Tehran and Moscow are working in close cooperation in various fields of the nuclear industry.]
TV anchor: Cooperation of Iran and Russia will continue in the field of the nuclear energy. Kamalvandi added that Iran’s nuclear cooperation with Russia is underway in excellent level and in different fields. In addition to a 1000-megawatt power plant which was built with Russia’s help and is currently active, two other 1000-megawatt units are being constructed. According to the spokesperson of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, there is good cooperation between the two countries with regard to producing stable isotopes and nuclear fuel as well, and recently both sides had a negotiation to cooperate in [constructing] small and mid-size power plants.
