[Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, the special aide to the speaker of parliament in international affairs, stresses on strategic relationship between Iran and Iraq.]
TV anchor: Special aide to the speaker of parliament in international affairs said Tehran’s relationship with Baghdad is strategic, and the White House’s pressure on Iraq’s political and parliamentarian officials cannot threaten this strong relationship. Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, head of the parliament’s international affairs, urged that the speaker of the Iraqi parliament, in a recent phone call with his Iranian counterpart, underscored on Iraqi’s well-known policies towards Iran. Of course, it is understandable if what was said in this talk is denied by Iraqi’s speaker of the parliament in his talk with the US counterpart.
