Iran’s nuclear program is once again at the center of the world’s attention after the U.S. pulled out of the nuclear deal with Iran. Former head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran criticizes the way the nuclear issue is handled by the Iranian government: Fereydoun Abbasi: “It is interesting to know that during the past 5 years, no money has been paid to the country’s nuclear university – which, as people know, is the only nuclear engineering university in the country. What should the professors do? Why hasn’t any money been paid? Why haven’t they brought a critical nuclear reactor there so that the students can see what a critical nuclear reactor is? Why haven’t they allowed domestic fuel to be used? Different parts of a centrifuge can be studied. We should train human resources. Why aren’t people allowed inside the nuclear energy? Why is going there banned? Why is the security atmosphere there? What is there that our enemies do not know?”
