Khamenei rejects any negotiations with USA

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday [July 22, 2018] that even the signatures of US officials are untrustworthy, rejecting any future negotiation with the USA.

Speaking during a meeting with foreign ministry officials, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “Negotiating with the United States is of no use and there’s no benefit to use because the Americans can’t be trusted, however much our reputable officials repeatedly rely on the [statements made during] negotiations. But I’ll tell you frankly that I’ve believed for a long time that they’re not reliable; we can’t even count on their signature, let alone trust their words and promises.”
