–Hossein Salami, the successor to IRGC chief commander, has said that in case of a military attack against Iran, the war will be taken to inside the borders of invaders. These remarks are made while the issue of Israel’s military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities has been one of the hottest issues in the media in past weeks.

Hossein Salami didn’t mention how the war would be taken to inside the borders of invading countries. But previously Iranian officials had threatened that the they will jeopardize interests of invading countries all over the world. Two years ago, for the first time, Russian state news agency published a story quoting chief of general staff of armed forces of Russia, announcing the existence of plans for a possible attack against Iran by the U.S. and Israel.

So far, this story has not been officially confirmed or denied by American and Israeli officials. Many experts, from a tactical point of view, see the possibility of Israel’s military attack against Iran as a long shot and military logistic very difficult and almost impossible. But at the same time, they emphasize that with the support of the U.S. military bases in the region, the attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities will be possible. A few days ago, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, secretary general of Lebanese Hezbollah, told Al-Mayadeen TV that he is aware of Iran’s decision as to targeting the U.S. bases in the region, in case of Israel’s attacks against Iranian nuclear facilities.
