[In this footage, Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi, member of Iran’s Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution and one of the ideologues of Iranian regime, is sarcastically implying that Iranian opposition would not be ready to make sacrifices to make revolution against Islamic Republic.]
Rahimpour Azghadi: You give 3000 casualties. They should stand by what they say. Once somebody told me, ‘we don’t want the Islamic Republic. What should we do?’ I said if you can be within the structure of Islamic Republic, there are hundreds of ways for reforming it within a religious democracy. On the condition that you act strongly. If you are not within the structure of Islamic republic, then go make a revolution. We made a revolution. Thousands were tortured and chopped to pieces. And later for preserving the Islamic Republic, we gave 200-300 thousand martyrs. We gave 300 thousand martyrs; you give 3000 casualties.
