Traces of radioactivity found on Rafsanjani’s towel!

In a new development concerning the death of former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, his daughter has reportedly come forward to claim that traces of radioactive substance have been found on the towel used to cover 83-year-old Rafsanjani when he was rushed to hospital in January 2017 after suffering a heart attack.

In this news report from BBC Persian, the news anchor says, “Hashemi Rafsanjani’s daughter says that radioactive traces have been found in the towel that her father was covered with when he was transferred from a swimming pool to the hospital [where he was declared dead]. Fatima Hashemi Rafsanjani was quoted by a government official as saying that she and her mother are also contaminated with radioactivity, but the amount is low. Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani suffered a cardiac arrest a year ago, but the exact cause of Hashemi’s death has not yet been announced.”
