The Deputy Head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) warned Europe on Saturday that the regime would expand the range of its ballistic missiles to include European countries if it feels that its missile program is threatened.
Speaking in an interview with the regime’s IRIB news agency, Hossein Salami said, “Each of our action is subject to a strategic doctrine; hence our weapons program is ruled by strategic logic. This means if we feel that if Europe is posing a threat to us, then we will increase the range of our missiles. Outside of this [equation], if there is no threat then we will not increase our missiles’ range. So Europe should know that if they want to enter our missiles’ airspace, then we might set aside these limitations. Do not manipulate [the situation] against us. In other words, don’t mess with our heads [play mind games].”
