This bulletin from Iranian regime state news concerns a speech by a senior regime military commander in which he gloats at the increasing divisions between the USA and Europe, suggesting that under Trump US society is collapsing and the country’s status as a power has ended.
Talking about a speech from the head of the regime’s Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Hossein Salami, the news anchor says, “The commander of the IRGC said that chaos; collapse, despair, and helplessness have increased among the enemy front. Brigadier-General Hossein Salami referred to the impudent comments of the President of the United States of America, saying, ‘Perhaps his tone seemed to be aggressive, but it was full of helplessness and failure and at the beginning of his speech he mentioned the list of US defeats.”
Brigadier-General Salami pointed out that when America’s president speaks his ministers of defense and his foreign ministers humiliate him, and this shows that America has come to its end.
While speaking to regime supporters and a number of officials, Salami said, “The roads are closed to the enemy. The logic that binds America and Europe together has collapsed. The United States has collapsed in political ethics. Look at the American presidential campaigns when Trump became the indicative symbol of America – this shows that American society has collapsed.’”
