Salehi boasts of progress in Iran’s nuke program

Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation, bragged on Thursday that the regime’s nuclear reactors have achieved technical advances in their uranium enrichment capacity, adding that the US would be “surprised”.

Speaking to news reporters during visits to the regime’s key nuclear facilities at Natanz and Fordow, Salehi said, “We have achieved technical readiness for nuclear reversibility to a degree that means the other side [the USA] will be surprised. Within four or five days, we have the ability to achieve twenty percent enrichment. We can begin this twenty percent enrichment in Natanz and Fordow from this moment.”
