Khamenei: Whoever wants security must elect

This video footage shows a pre-election speech delivered by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at the Imam Khomeini Musalla [prayer hall] on May 3 2017, in which he urged his supporters to participate in the regime’s election on May 19, in which all of the candidates are approved by Khamenei and obey his edicts.

In the speech, Khamenei said:   “I want to tell the people and I am insisting that you people definitely do participate in the election and cast your vote in the ballot box.  Participation in the election must take place. Whoever loves and whoever wants security must enter into the arena of the election; what I want to say is that people should know is that the presence of people in different fields is crucial for the regime. You people’s presence determines national security; if the people are present in different areas, the country will maintain its security”.
