On this day and before going to the session held by this organization in Iran International Conference Center, he visited Exhibition for Nuclear Achievements. In this exhibition, the president was informed of the latest technical and special achievements in the nuclear domain that were put on display. Then in the ceremony of the 11th anniversary of National Day for Nuclear Technology, Mr. Rouhani unveiled two significant achievements of Nuclear Energy Organization of Iran in the presence of representatives and ambassadors from the foreign country.

Reporter explains the two nuclear achievements that were unveiled: Planning and building stone centrifuges and planning and building and testing high-temperature RG Condensate Pump– needed for the first unit of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant– were two achievements of Nuclear Energy Organization of Iran that were unveiled.

The reporter points to 3 projects that were launched via video conference: By the order of the president, 3 nuclear achievements became operative: The launching of the 1st phase of industrial radiation center with use of accelerating system in Qazvin, launching production center for radiopharmaceuticals with focus on production of FPG radiopharmaceuticals in Alborz province, and launching the first factory for concentration of uranium ore in Yazd province.

Rouhani is quoted for praising the scientists: While praising our country’s nuclear scientists for progress and development of nuclear technology, he called production and localization of advanced IR-8 centrifuges a national achievement.

Hassan Rouhani asserts: Today, you saw IR-8 in this exhibition, which is working with injection of UF6 gas. It is working with 60,000, 70,000 spins which shows how much is its linear speed.

Reporter concludes the first report: Mr. Rouhani pointed out that today, with efforts of our country’s scientists and specialists, we have entered commercial nuclear market, including heavy water, radiopharmaceuticals, and yellow cakes, emphasizing that we have achieved this victory all together.

In a ceremony on April 9, even though nuclear martyrs were missing, it was quite obvious that Iran’s nuclear activities will be unstoppable. In continuation, with presence of the president, 3 nuclear plans—industrial center with the first local accelerator in Qazvin, center for production and development of pet-scan radiopharmaceuticals in Alborz, and the unit for grinding and concentration of uranium ore in Yazd—became operative through video conference. In Iran International Conference Center, stone centrifuge and Bushehr Power Plant’s high-temperature condensate pump were unveiled.
