Iran’s ‘morality police’ arrest, assault woman for not wearing hijab

This video, which has gone viral on social media networks, shows Iranian regime plainclothes thugs arresting and physically assaulting a woman on the basis that she was “inappropriately dressed” without the hijab head covering.

In recent years, the Islamic Republic has launched a massive crackdown on women’s clothing and freedoms in an effort to placate the regime’s hardline support base.

The so-called ‘morality policy’ are specifically concerned with harassing, arresting, and verbally and often physically  abusing women who fail to comply with the theocratic state’s strict Islamic dress code.  This has led to widespread anger among many Iranians, especially the younger generation.
